Lizano Kicks Off the Weekend at Reno Livestock Events Center for Stadium GP Motocross Race
It was a perfect and warm evening in Reno, Nevada, the Reno Livestock Events Center transformed into a vibrant hub of excitement and anticipation. The stage was still being set for Lizano, a band celebrated for their electrifying performances, to kick off an exhilarating weekend of Stadium GP Motocross races. As families, racers, and fans gathered, the air buzzed with enthusiasm and the tantalizing aroma of BBQ and huge breaded corndogs.
But before the show could begin, lead singer Jay Hatchett was pulled out of racing retirement to join the weekend's racers during their practice runs before the show! Jay held his own during the practice run, staying somewhere in the middle of the pack. Not bad for his first time running it for last few years! After the practice run, it was time for final preparations and get the show started.
The boys played some of their classics on their setlist, including "Satisfied" and closing the show with "Us Vs. Them". They sprinkled in some of their favorite covers from the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Adding to the evening’s charm, Jay Hatchett’s own children started dancing near the stage, embodying the family-friendly spirit of the event. As the set continued more people began to dance near the stage with the kids while the sun began to set over Peavine, casting a classic, warm desert glow over the city.

The combination of live music, great food, and the anticipation of the upcoming motocross race created a lively yet relaxing environment. It was not just an evening of entertainment but also the camaraderie of the racing community. The event successfully set the stage for an exciting weekend!
